- Battery Replacement: If using batteries, replace all four AAA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display or if the scale fails to power on. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
- Storage: Store the scale in a dry, stable environment away from extreme temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight.
- Handling: Avoid dropping the scale or subjecting it to sudden impacts, as this can affect its accuracy and internal components.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Inaccurate readings | Scale not on a level surface; object not centered; overload; interference. | Ensure scale is on a flat, stable surface. Place object in the center. Do not exceed maximum capacity. Remove any electronic devices causing interference. |
| Display not working / No power | Low batteries; AC adapter not connected; faulty connection. | Replace batteries. Check AC adapter connection to scale and outlet. Ensure cable between platform and indicator is secure. |
| Display shows 'OL' or 'EEEE' | Overload. | Remove the object immediately. The weight exceeds the scale's maximum capacity. |
| Weight fluctuates | Unstable surface; air currents; vibration. | Move scale to a more stable location. Avoid drafts or vibrations during weighing. |
