2. Setup and Assembly
Before first use, ensure all components are present and properly assembled. The WG155 is designed for tool-less assembly, making it quick and straightforward to prepare for operation.

2.2. Battery Charging
The 20V Lithium-Ion battery must be fully charged before initial use. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet and insert the battery. The charger indicator light will show the charging status. Lithium Power battery technology resists self-discharge, allowing for quick partial charges without memory effect concerns.

2.3. Attaching the Handle and Shaft
Align the adjustable handle with the main shaft and secure it according to the markings. The shaft is telescopic, allowing for length adjustment to accommodate varying user heights for optimal comfort and control.
2.4. Installing the Trimmer Line Spool
The WG155 features an automatic single line feed system. To install a new spool, ensure the tool is powered off and the battery is removed. Open the spool housing, place the new spool inside, and thread the line through the designated eyelet. Close the housing securely. The trimmer comes with three spools of 0.065-inch diameter line.

3. Operation
The WORX WG155 offers dual functionality as a string trimmer and an edger. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, long pants, and sturdy footwear, when operating the tool.
3.1. Starting and Stopping
To start the trimmer, ensure the battery is inserted and fully charged. Press the safety lock-off button and then squeeze the trigger switch. To stop, release the trigger switch. There is no pull-starting or gas/oil mixing required.
3.2. Trimming Function
For trimming grass and weeds, hold the tool comfortably with both hands. The fully adjustable trimming head allows you to angle the head for optimal cutting. Move the trimmer in a sweeping motion, keeping the cutting line parallel to the ground. The automatic line feed will advance the line as needed.

3.3. Edging Function
To convert to an edger, simply rotate the head of the tool. The integrated twin in-line wheels assist in guiding the trimmer along sidewalks, driveways, and garden edges, ensuring a precise and clean cut. Position the wheels on the hard surface and guide the cutting line along the edge of the grass.

3.4. Flower Guard
The retractable flower guard helps protect delicate plants and ornamental objects from the cutting line. Extend the guard when working near valued landscaping elements to maintain a safe distance.
4. Maintenance

4.1. Cleaning
