1. Introduction
This document provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your AOC E950SWN 19-inch LED Monitor. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the monitor to ensure optimal performance and safety.

2. Safety Information
Observe the following safety precautions to prevent damage to the monitor and ensure user safety:
- Do not place the monitor on an unstable cart, stand, or table.
- Do not block ventilation openings.
- Do not use near water or in excessively humid environments.
- Use only the power cord and adapter provided by the manufacturer.
- Unplug the monitor during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all items are present in the package:

- Monitor Stand Base
- Power Cable (3-prong)
- VGA Cable (D-SUB)

4. Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble the monitor stand:
- Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
- Snap the monitor stand base onto the short stand piece. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
- Align the oval piece on the bottom side of the monitor with the small stand piece. Gently push until the stand is firmly attached to the monitor.

5. Connections
Connect the monitor to your computer and power source:
- Connect the Video Cable: Locate the D-SUB (VGA) port on the back of the monitor. Connect one end of the provided VGA cable to this port and the other end to the VGA port on your computer. Tighten the screws on the VGA connector to secure the connection.
- Connect the Power Cable: Insert the 3-prong power cable into the power input on the back of the monitor. Plug the other end of the power cable into a grounded electrical outlet.

6. Operating the Monitor
6.1 Power On/Off
Press the power button located on the bottom bezel of the monitor to turn it on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is active.
6.2 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu
The On-Screen Display (OSD) menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings. Use the buttons on the bottom bezel to navigate and select options.

6.3 Basic Adjustments
- Brightness: Adjust the overall luminance of the screen.
- Contrast: Modify the difference between the lightest and darkest areas of the display.
- Auto Adjust: For VGA connections, this option automatically optimizes the display settings for the input signal.
7. Software Installation
The included CD-ROM contains the necessary drivers for your AOC E950SWN monitor and a digital copy of the user manual. It may also include additional software such as 'Screen+' which allows for desktop partitioning. Insert the CD-ROM into your computer's optical drive and follow the on-screen instructions for installation.
8. Maintenance
8.1 Cleaning the Screen
Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
8.2 Cleaning the Casing
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the monitor's casing. Do not spray cleaning liquids directly onto the monitor.
