1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your ANGEL POS 15-Inch Touch Screen HDMI POS Monitor. 4. Setup

4.1 Physical Connection

1. Connect the VGA cable from the monitor's VGA port to your computer's VGA output.
2. Connect the USB cable from the monitor's USB port (for touch function) to an available USB port on your computer.
3. Connect the power adapter to the monitor's DC 12V input and then plug it into a power outlet.

4.2 Driver Installation

For the touch functionality to work correctly, you must install the necessary drivers. Drivers are provided on the included USB flash drive.

1. Insert the provided USB flash drive into your computer.
2. Navigate to the USB drive and locate the driver installation files.
3. Run the setup executable. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
4. The monitor supports drivers for Windows NT, 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10.
5. After installation, a system restart may be required.

5. Operation

5.1 Basic Touch Functionality

Once the drivers are installed, the monitor will function as a touch input device. You can interact with the screen directly using your finger or the provided stylus pen.

5.2 Adjusting Display Settings

The monitor features a control panel, typically located on the side or back, which allows you to adjust display settings such as brightness, contrast, and color. Refer to the on-screen menu for navigation.

6. Maintenance

• To clean the screen, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, dampen the cloth slightly with water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner.
• Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they can damage the screen surface.
• Keep the monitor free from dust by regularly wiping its surfaces.

7. Troubleshooting

• Touch screen not responding or inaccurate: Ensure the USB cable for touch function is securely connected. Reinstall or update the touch screen drivers from the provided USB flash drive. Perform touch screen calibration if available in your operating system settings.
• Screen flickering: This may occur briefly upon startup. Allow 20-30 seconds for the screen to stabilize. Ensure the VGA cable is securely connected.
• Poor picture quality: Check the VGA cable connection. Adjust the resolution settings on your computer to match the monitor's native resolution (1024 x 768). Adjust brightness and contrast using the monitor's control panel.
• Monitor wobbles: Ensure the monitor is placed on a flat, stable surface. The foldable base should be fully extended and locked into position for maximum stability.
• No display: Verify that the power adapter is correctly connected and the power outlet is active. Check the VGA cable connection to both the monitor and the computer. Ensure the computer is powered on and outputting a signal.
