Setup Instructions

1. Installing the Light and Sound Module

1. Locate the slot for the light and sound module on the roof of the fire engine cab.
2. Insert 2 AAA batteries into the module, ensuring correct polarity.
3. Carefully slide the module into the designated slot until it clicks into place.
4. Press any of the four buttons on the module to test the engine noise, police yelp, police siren, or fire siren.

2. Filling the Water Tank

The fire engine features an integrated water tank for realistic water spraying.

• Locate the water tank opening, typically near the rear of the cab or under the ladder assembly.
• Carefully pour clean tap water into the tank until it is full. Do not overfill.
• Ensure the cap or cover is securely closed after filling.

3. Extending Support Legs

For stability during ladder operation, extend the four support legs.

• Pull each of the four grey support legs outwards from the chassis until fully extended.
• Adjust their height if necessary to ensure the vehicle is stable on uneven surfaces.

Operating Instructions

1. Operating the Water Pump and Hose

• Ensure the water tank is filled (refer to Setup Instructions).
• Unwind the water hose from its reel. The hose can be held by Bruder figures or secured to the rescue basket.
• To activate the water pump, locate the small lever or knob near the hose reel and turn it to pump water through the nozzle.
• The nozzle provides a fully functioning water stream.
• After use, wind the hose back onto the reel.

2. Operating the Turntable Ladder

• Extension: Use the hand wheel located on the side of the ladder assembly to extend or retract the ladder sections. The ladder can extend up to 4 feet.
• Height Adjustment: A separate knob allows you to adjust the angle and height of the ladder.
• Rotation: The entire ladder assembly can be rotated 360 degrees on its turntable base.
• Rescue Basket: The rescue basket at the end of the ladder can accommodate a Bruder figure.
