  • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the switch and a working power outlet.
  • Check if the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
  • Verify that the Power LED on the front panel is illuminated.

7.2 No Link/Activity on a Port

  • Ensure the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the switch port and the network device.
  • Try a different Ethernet cable to rule out a faulty cable.
  • Verify that the connected network device is powered on and functioning correctly.
  • Try connecting the device to a different port on the switch.

7.3 Slow Network Speed

  • Ensure all connected devices and cables support Gigabit Ethernet (Cat5e or higher).
  • Check for excessive network traffic or bandwidth-intensive applications.
  • Ensure the switch is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating, which can affect performance.

7.4 Lightning Protection

The TEG1024D is equipped with a professional lightning protection circuit, providing 6 KV lightning protection for all Ethernet ports and the power supply module. This feature helps protect the switch from damage caused by thunder storms and power surges.
