Key Features

16.1 Megapixel Super HAD CCD Image Sensor

The camera features a 16.1 megapixel 1/2.3-inch Super HAD CCD image sensor, designed to capture images with high contrast and clarity. This resolution supports creating large prints or cropping images while retaining detail.

3.0-inch Clear Photo LCD Display

A 3.0-inch (230K dots) Clear Photo LCD display provides clear and natural color reproduction, facilitating easy composition, menu navigation, and photo review, even in bright conditions.

Optical SteadyShot Image Stabilization

Optical SteadyShot technology utilizes a built-in gyro sensor to detect camera movement and automatically shifts the lens to counteract blur, helping to produce sharper images without compromising quality.

Sweep Panorama Mode (up to 360°)

This mode allows for capturing wide panoramic images. Simply press the shutter button and sweep the camera in the desired direction. The camera automatically stitches multiple images together to create a single, continuous panoramic photo, available in wide and up to 360° full circle formats.

720p HD Movie Mode

Record high-definition videos in 720p MP4 format (1280 x 720 at 30fps). This standard format is compatible with PCs and allows for full use of the optical zoom during recording. Videos can be easily transferred and uploaded to sharing platforms.

Intelligent Auto Mode (iAuto)

The iAuto mode automatically analyzes the scene, lighting conditions, and subjects (including faces) to optimize camera settings. This results in clear images with natural skin tones and reduced blur, simplifying the shooting process.

Picture Effect

Apply various creative effects to your photos directly in the camera, such as Toy Camera, Pop Color, Partial Color, and Soft High-key, to enhance mood and visual impact.

Face Detection Technology

This technology detects up to eight individual faces in a frame and adjusts focus, exposure, and white balance to ensure subjects are properly lit and sharp.

Smile Shutter Technology

The camera automatically captures a photo the moment a smile is detected. Sensitivity can be adjusted, and it can be used in conjunction with Intelligent Scene Recognition.

Anti-Blink Function

To prevent photos with closed eyes, the Anti-blink function can capture two images and save the one with less squinting. A warning is displayed if a blink is detected in other shooting modes.

Soft Skin Mode

This mode identifies skin tones and reduces the appearance of blemishes and wrinkles in portraits without affecting other areas of the image.

Intelligent Scene Recognition (iSCN) Mode

iSCN automatically detects up to seven different scene types (e.g., Backlight, Portrait, Landscape) and adjusts camera settings accordingly. In Advanced Mode, it can take a second optimized photo for challenging lighting conditions.

Natural Flash

This mode aims to correct color in flash photography by taking a reference shot without flash, resulting in more lifelike images.

Dynamic Range Optimizer (DRO)

DRO helps recover detail in both shadow and highlight areas of an image, producing more natural-looking photos, especially in high-contrast scenes. DRO Plus offers enhanced optimization.

Self-Portrait Timer

Utilizes Face Detection technology to recognize when your face enters the frame, triggering a 2-second timer before capturing a self-portrait.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, dry cloth or a lens brush to gently remove dust. For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning solution applied to a lens tissue. Avoid touching the lens surface with your fingers.
  • Cleaning the LCD Screen: Wipe the screen gently with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Camera Body: Wipe the camera body with a soft, dry cloth. For dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water and then wipe dry. Avoid using organic solvents like alcohol or thinner.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the battery and store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Water Resistance: This camera is not water-resistant. Avoid exposure to water, rain, or high humidity.
