3. Setup
3.1. Battery Installation
Open the battery/memory card cover located on the bottom of the camera. Insert the NP-FH50 H-Series Info-Lithium Battery Pack into the battery compartment, ensuring correct orientation. Close the cover securely.
3.2. Memory Card Insertion
With the battery/memory card cover open, insert a compatible SD card (not included) into the memory card slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct direction. Close the cover securely.
3.3. Attaching the Shoulder Strap
Thread the ends of the provided shoulder strap through the strap eyelets on both sides of the camera. Secure the strap by passing the ends through the buckles and tightening them. Ensure the strap is firmly attached to prevent accidental drops.
3.4. Attaching the Lens Cap
Attach the lens cap to the front of the lens when the camera is not in use to protect it from dust and scratches. Use the provided lens cap strap to secure the cap to the camera body, preventing loss.

4. Operating the Camera
4.1. Power On/Off
Press the ON/OFF button to power on or off the camera. The lens will extend when powered on.
4.2. Basic Shooting Modes
Rotate the mode dial on top of the camera to select your desired shooting mode:
- Intelligent Auto Mode: Automatically detects 33 different types of scenes and selects optimal camera settings.
