6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Screen
To clean the screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. If necessary, use a screen cleaner specifically designed for monitors, applied to the cloth, not directly to the screen.
6.2 Cleaning the Casing
Wipe the monitor casing with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the monitor and the electrical outlet. Check if the outlet is functioning.
- No Image: Verify that the video cable (VGA or HDMI) is correctly connected to both the monitor and the computer. Ensure the computer is powered on and not in sleep mode. Select the correct input source via the OSD menu.
- Image is blurry or distorted: Adjust the resolution settings on your computer to match the monitor's native resolution (1920 x 1080). For VGA connections, use the OSD's auto-adjust function.
- No Sound (from monitor speakers): Ensure the audio cable is connected (if applicable) and that the volume is not muted or set too low in both the monitor's OSD and your computer's sound settings.
