3. Setup and Assembly
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or shipping.
- Initial Cleaning: Wash the removable stainless steel oil container, baskets, and lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The heating element and control panel should be wiped with a damp cloth only.
- Assemble Components:
- Place the stainless steel oil container securely into the main unit.
- Insert the immersion-style heating element and control panel assembly into the designated slots at the back of the main unit. Ensure it is firmly seated.
- Attach the desired heavy mesh basket(s) (one large or two small) to the basket handle. The cool-touch collapsible handles should be in the upright position for easy handling.
- Place the lid onto the unit.
- Placement: Position the deep fryer on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and flammable materials. Ensure adequate ventilation.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Filling with Oil
- Ensure the unit is unplugged.
- Pour cooking oil into the removable stainless steel oil container. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line and do not go below the 'MIN' fill line. The oil capacity is 1 gallon.
4.2 Preheating the Oil
- Plug the deep fryer into a grounded electrical outlet. The 'POWER' indicator light will illuminate.
- Use the digital temperature control to set the desired frying temperature. Refer to your recipe or a cooking chart for recommended temperatures.
- The 'READY' indicator light will turn off during heating and illuminate once the set temperature is reached. This typically takes about 15-20 minutes.
4.3 Frying Food
- Once the 'READY' light is on, carefully place food into the basket(s). Do not overload the basket; fry in small batches for best results. The maximum food capacity is 2.3 lbs.
- Slowly lower the basket(s) into the hot oil.
- Close the lid. Use the 60-minute digital timer to set the cooking duration. You can monitor the cooking process through the viewing window.
- When frying is complete, carefully lift the basket(s) out of the oil and hook them onto the rim of the oil container to allow excess oil to drain.
- Remove food from the basket(s) and place on paper towels to absorb any remaining oil.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your deep fryer.
- Cool Down: Always allow the oil and the deep fryer to cool completely before cleaning. This may take several hours.
- Oil Disposal/Storage: Once cooled, carefully remove the stainless steel oil container. Use the pouring spout to transfer cooled oil to a suitable storage container or for proper disposal.
- Disassembly: Remove the heating element/control panel assembly, baskets, and lid.
- Cleaning Components:
- The stainless steel oil container, baskets, and lid are dishwasher safe.
- Wipe the heating element and control panel assembly with a damp cloth. Never immerse the heating element or control panel in water or any other liquid.
- Clean the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Reassembly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling the unit.
6. Troubleshooting
- Fryer does not turn on:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded outlet.
- Ensure the heating element/control panel assembly is correctly seated in the main unit. The fryer has a safety switch that prevents operation if not properly assembled.
- Verify that the temperature control is set to a desired temperature.
- Oil is not heating:
- Confirm the 'POWER' light is on and the temperature is set.
- Allow sufficient time for preheating (15-20 minutes). The 'READY' light will indicate when the oil is at the set temperature.
- Food is not crispy:
- Ensure the oil is at the correct temperature before adding food.
- Do not overload the basket. Fry in smaller batches to maintain oil temperature and ensure even cooking.
- Check the food's moisture content; pat dry any excess moisture before frying.
