    • Connect the hydraulic hose from the cylinder to a suitable hydraulic pump (manual or powered).

  4. Bleeding the System: If necessary, follow the instructions for your hydraulic pump and cylinder to bleed air from the system.
  5. Initial Test: Before applying pressure to a workpiece, perform a low-pressure test to ensure all components are functioning correctly and there are no leaks.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe operation of the ENERPAC Hydraulic Press C-Clamp:

  1. Position Workpiece: Carefully place the workpiece between the C-clamp's jaws. Ensure it is centered and stable.
  2. Adjust Cylinder: If your cylinder has an adjustable ram, position it close to the workpiece without applying pressure.
  3. Apply Pressure: Operate the hydraulic pump to slowly extend the cylinder ram, applying pressure to the workpiece. Monitor the pressure gauge (if equipped) to stay within the 10-ton capacity.
  4. Maintain Pressure: Hold the desired pressure for the required duration.
  5. Release Pressure: Slowly release the pressure using the pump's release valve. Allow the ram to retract fully before removing the workpiece.
  6. Storage: After use, clean the C-clamp and store it in a dry, safe place.

Important: Never place hands or fingers between the jaws of the C-clamp when pressure is being applied or released.
