Setup and Installation

Operating Instructions
The Dust Collection Blade Guard is designed for intuitive use, automatically adjusting to the material being cut. Always ensure your dust collection system is active during operation.
- Power On: With the guard properly installed and dust collection connected, power on your SawStop table saw and dust collection system.
- Material Feed: As you feed material into the blade, the clear plastic guard will lift and slide independently, allowing the material to pass while maintaining maximum blade coverage. The anti-kickback pawls will engage the material, preventing backward movement.
- Dust Collection: The above-table dust port will actively collect sawdust and debris generated during the cut, directing it into your dust collection system. This significantly reduces airborne particles and keeps your workspace cleaner.
- Narrow Cuts: The low-profile design of the guard allows for precise cuts as narrow as 3/4 inch while still providing protection and dust collection.
