3. Attach the round spring bars to the hitch head. The universal design allows them to be used on either side.
4. Connect the U-bolts and chain package to the spring bars and the trailer frame. Adjust the chain links to achieve proper weight distribution and leveling.
5. Mount the sway control unit to the trailer tongue, ensuring it is positioned correctly to avoid interference during sharp turns.
6. Tighten all bolts and connections to the specified torque settings. Note that setting the ball angle may require a special torque wrench capable of 260 ft-lbs.

Operating Instructions

Sway Control Adjustment:

• The external sway control is manually adjusted to your desired amount using a simple clamp adjustment.
• To increase sway control, tighten the clamp. For less control, loosen it.
• You can unclamp the sway control to turn it off when not needed, such as during sharp turns or backing up.

Weight Distribution Adjustment:

• The universal spring bars are interchangeable and can be used conveniently on either side of the hitch.
• Adjust the chain links on the spring bars to fine-tune the weight distribution and ensure your tow vehicle and trailer remain level.
