Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the fan's performance and safety. Ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound.

1. Choose Location: Select a wall location that can support the fan's weight (approximately 41.6 pounds) and allows for optimal airflow without obstruction. Ensure it is an indoor location.
2. Mounting Bracket Installation:

   Secure the wall mounting bracket to the chosen surface using appropriate fasteners (not included). Ensure the bracket is level and firmly attached to wall studs or suitable anchors.
3. Attach Fan to Bracket: Carefully lift the fan assembly and align it with the mounting points on the bracket. Secure the fan to the bracket using the provided bolts, nuts, and washers. Ensure all connections are tightened securely.

4. Connect Power: Plug the 12-foot, 3-prong power cord into a grounded 120V AC outlet.

Operating Instructions

The fan features a pull chain switch for power and speed control, and adjustable settings for oscillation and tilt.

• Power and Speed Control: The fan is operated by a pull chain switch located on the motor housing.
  • Pull once for Low speed.
  • Pull twice for Medium speed.
  • Pull three times for High speed.
  • Pull four times to turn the fan OFF.
• Oscillation Function: The fan can operate in either a fixed or oscillating mode.
  • To enable oscillation, loosen the adjustable knob on the fan head.
  • To fix the fan in a stationary position, tighten the adjustable knob.
• Tilt Adjustment: The fan head can be tilted vertically to direct airflow.
  • Loosen the pivot bolts on the side of the fan head.
  • Adjust the fan head to the desired vertical angle.
  • Tighten the pivot bolts securely to lock the fan in position.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your fan.

• Cleaning:
  • Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces.
