2. Safety Instructions

- POWER Switch: Toggles the unit on or off.

- PHONO Input (RCA): Connects to a turntable. Includes an MM/MC switch for moving magnet or moving coil cartridges.
- CD Input (RCA): Connects to a CD player or other line-level source.

5. Setup
5.1 Placement
Place the TPR-3 on a stable, level surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for proper ventilation, especially above the tube windows, to prevent heat buildup.
5.2 Audio Connections
- Connect Sources: Use high-quality RCA cables to connect your audio sources (e.g., CD player, turntable, tuner) to the corresponding input jacks on the rear panel (CD, PHONO, TAPE, TUNER, AUX).
- Turntable Connection: If connecting a turntable, ensure the MM/MC switch next to the PHONO input is set correctly for your cartridge type. Connect the turntable's ground wire to the GND terminal on the preamplifier.
- Connect to Amplifier: Connect the RCA OUTPUT jacks of the TPR-3 to the input jacks of your power amplifier or active speakers.
5.3 Power Connection
After all audio connections are made, connect the supplied power cable to the AC Power Inlet on the rear panel of the TPR-3 and then to a suitable 230V AC wall outlet.
6. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Press the POWER switch on the front panel to turn on the unit. The indicator light will illuminate, and the tubes will begin to glow.
- Tube Warm-up: Allow approximately 10-15 minutes for the vacuum tubes to warm up and stabilize for optimal sound performance.
- Select Input: Turn the SELECTOR knob to choose the audio source you wish to listen to.
- Adjust Volume: Slowly turn the VOLUME knob clockwise to increase the sound level to your desired listening volume.
- Power Off: When finished listening, turn the VOLUME knob to minimum, then press the POWER switch to turn off the unit.

- Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the unit. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
