4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to insert your artwork and prepare the frame for hanging:

1. Prepare the Frame: Carefully lay the frame face down on a clean, soft, flat surface to prevent scratches.
2. Remove Backing: Gently bend or rotate the metal tabs holding the backing in place. Remove the corrugated backing board and the plexiglass sheet.
3. Peel Protective Film: The plexiglass comes with a thin protective film on both sides. Carefully peel off this film from both surfaces of the plexiglass.
4. Insert Artwork: Place your 13x26 inch photo, print, or artwork face down into the frame. Ensure it is centered and aligned as desired.
5. Reinsert Plexiglass and Backing: Place the peeled plexiglass sheet over your artwork, followed by the corrugated backing board.
6. Secure Backing: Bend or rotate the metal tabs back into place to securely hold the plexiglass and backing.
7. Attach Hanging Hardware:
   • Determine the desired orientation (vertical or horizontal) for your frame.
   • Screw the two D-rings into the back of the frame, approximately one-third of the way down from the top edge on each side.
   • Thread the hanging wire through the D-rings and tie it securely, ensuring the wire is taut enough to create a slight curve when hung, but not so loose that the frame tilts excessively.
8. Wall Mounting: Use appropriate wall anchors and hooks (not included) suitable for the weight of the frame and your wall type. Hang the frame by the wire.
