- Charcoal Water Filter Replacement: Replace the charcoal water filter every 60 days or after 60 uses, or more often if you have hard water.
- Descaling (Clean Setting): The 'Clean' setting light indicates when it's time to descale your coffeemaker to remove calcium buildup. Follow the descaling instructions in your full user manual, typically involving a vinegar solution.
- Dispenser Valve Maintenance: If coffee grounds or particles accumulate in the coffee container where brewed coffee exits, preventing the gasket from sealing, rinse the valve with tap water while holding it open to flush out debris.

6. Troubleshooting
- Coffee Not Dispensing / Leaking: If coffee grounds or particles accumulate in the coffee container where the brewed coffee exits, it can prevent the gasket from sealing correctly. Rinse the valve with tap water while holding it open to flush out any grounds or particles.
- 'Add Water' Indicator: If the 'Add Water' indicator light illuminates, the water reservoir needs to be refilled.
- 'Clean' Indicator: If the 'Clean' indicator light illuminates, the coffeemaker requires descaling to remove mineral deposits. Refer to the descaling instructions in your full user manual.
- Loss of Programmed Settings: The Power Loss Back-up System provides one minute of protection against losing programmed settings in case of a power failure or if the unit is unplugged. If power is restored within one minute, settings should be retained. Otherwise, reprogram the desired settings.
