  • Read Nailer Labels: Understand all warning labels on the tool.

3. Setup

3.1 Connecting to Air Supply

  1. Ensure the air compressor is off and the air hose is disconnected from the compressor.
  2. Apply thread sealant tape to the 1/4" NPT air inlet fitting on the nailer.
  3. Connect a suitable air hose (minimum 3/8" inner diameter) to the air inlet.
  4. Connect the other end of the air hose to your air compressor.
  5. Set the air compressor output pressure between 60-100 PSI, depending on the nail size and wood density. Do not exceed 120 PSI.

3.2 Loading Nails

This nailer accommodates 2" to 3-1/2" clipped or full-head nails collated at 21°, 28°, and 34°.

  1. Ensure the air supply is disconnected.
  2. Pull back the magazine follower until it locks.
  3. Insert a strip of collated nails into the magazine with the nail points facing down.
  4. Release the magazine follower, allowing it to push the nails forward.
  5. The nail capacity is approximately 60 nails for 21° collation and 100 nails for 28° and 34° collation.

3.3 Adjusting Magazine Angle

The patented magazine angle adjustment allows for quick changes to accommodate different fastener types and collation angles.

  • Refer to the markings on the magazine for the specific angle settings (21°, 28°, 34°).
  • Adjust the magazine to match the collation angle of the nails being used. Ensure it locks securely into place.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 General Operation

  1. Connect the air supply and ensure the pressure is set correctly (60-100 PSI).
  2. Place the nose of the nailer firmly against the workpiece where the nail is to be driven.
  3. The tool features a full sequential fire mechanism. To fire a nail, the contact trip must be depressed against the workpiece, and then the trigger pulled. To fire another nail, release the trigger, lift the tool, and re-depress the contact trip against the workpiece before pulling the trigger again. This is a safety feature.
  4. After each nail, lift the tool from the workpiece to reset the firing mechanism.

4.2 Adjusting Air Deflector

The 360° adjustable air deflector allows you to direct exhaust air away from your face and the workpiece. Rotate the deflector to the desired position before operation.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your nailer.

  • Lubrication: Apply 5-10 drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet daily before use.
  • Cleaning: Keep the tool clean and free of debris. Wipe down the exterior with a clean cloth.
  • Inspect for Damage: Regularly inspect the tool for loose screws, damaged parts, or air leaks. Do not use a damaged tool.
  • Air Filter: Check and clean the air filter on your compressor regularly to ensure clean air supply to the tool.
  • Storage: Store the tool in a dry, secure location when not in use.
