1. Product Overview

The Omron Standard D-Ring Blood Pressure Cuff (model H-CR24) is a contoured, durable cuff designed for accurate blood pressure measurement. Note: This cuff is not compatible with the 2014 Advanced Accuracy Blood Pressure Monitor Series.

3. Setup and Cuff Placement

1. Determine Your Arm Size: Before using, measure the circumference of your left upper arm midway between your elbow and shoulder using a cloth measuring tape. Ensure your arm size falls within the 9 to 13 inch (22-32 cm) range for this cuff.
2. Connect the Air Tube: Insert the air plug of the cuff's air tube firmly into the air jack on your Omron blood pressure monitor.
3. Position the Cuff: Slide your left arm through the cuff loop. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 0.5 to 1 inch (1 to 2 cm) above your elbow. The air tube should run down the inside of your arm, aligned with your middle finger. The artery mark (usually an arrow or circle) on the cuff should be positioned over your brachial artery, which is typically on the inside of your upper arm.
4. Secure the Cuff: Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm. The fabric fastener should be secure, but not so tight that it restricts blood flow or causes discomfort. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between the cuff and your arm.
