ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Refer to Fig. 2 in diagram)

  1. Attach the column (B) to the top center coupling of the fixture body (E) by turning it clockwise until tight. Slide the loop (A) over the end pipe nipple of the column, turning it clockwise until tight.
  2. Slide cover (D) into the lamp holder, then slide the candle sleeve (C) over the lamp holder.
  3. Install the light bulbs according to the fixture specifications. NOTE: Do not exceed the specified wattage!

HANGING THE FIXTURE (Refer to Fig. 1 in diagram)

  1. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove any existing fixture from the ceiling, including its mounting plate.
  2. Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay all parts on a clean, protected surface.
  3. Thread the two Studs (A) approximately 1/4 inch into the pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate. Ensure the holes are spaced the same distance apart as the holes in the fixture canopy. Install the mounting plate to the Junction Box using the two Junction Box Screws. The side of the mounting strap marked "GND" must face outwards.
  4. Using appropriate chain pliers, open one end link of the provided chain and connect it to the fixture loop. Close the link securely.
  5. Measure and determine the correct number of chain links required for the desired hanging height. Use chain pliers to disconnect and discard any remaining chain.
  6. Lace the fixture wires through the chain.
  7. Open the other end link of the chain and hang the fixture on the loop at the ceiling. Close the link securely.
  8. Feed the fixture wires through the loop of the canopy and pull until taut.
  9. Slide the canopy up flush to the ceiling and secure it with the ball nuts.

Note: If you need to assemble the fixture loop, please refer to Fig. 4 in the diagram.

  1. Take out the bottom loop of the canopy, then the top loop (A) and cover of the column (B). Bring the canopy to the fixture body and secure it with the lock washer and hex nut until tight.
  2. Attach the fixture body to the ceiling, securing it with the ball nut.

CONNECTING THE WIRES (Refer to Fig. 3 in diagram)

  1. Connect the black wire from the ceiling junction box and the smooth wire leg from the fixture. Twist the bare ends together and secure with a wire connector until snug.
  2. Repeat the process with the white junction box wire and the ribbed wire leg from the fixture. NOTE: Twist wires in the same direction as you twist the wire connector onto them.
  3. If your junction box has a grounding wire (green or bare copper), connect this wire and the bare copper wire from the fixture together. If the junction box has no ground wire, attach the bare copper fixture wire to the green ground screw on the single bar.
  4. Tuck all wire connections neatly into the ceiling outlet box. Raise the canopy flush to the ceiling and secure it with the ball nuts.

Your installation is now complete. Restore power to the junction box and test the fixture.

Operating Instructions

Once the fixture is properly installed and wired, restore power at the circuit breaker. The chandelier can then be operated using a standard wall switch connected to the circuit. Ensure bulbs are correctly installed and within the specified wattage range for optimal performance and safety.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure power is off at the circuit breaker. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the polished brass finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
  • Bulb Replacement: Always turn off power before replacing bulbs. Allow old bulbs to cool completely before removal. Replace with new bulbs of the same type (GY4 base) and wattage (max 60 watts) as specified.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the wiring and connections for any signs of wear or damage. If any issues are found, consult a qualified electrician.
