Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack the Blanket: Carefully remove the blanket and controllers from the packaging.
  2. Position the Blanket: Place the heated blanket on your bed with the label at the foot of the bed. Ensure the blanket is spread evenly and not bunched up.
  3. Connect the Controller(s): Locate the connector(s) on the blanket. Firmly plug the controller cord(s) into the blanket connector(s) until it clicks securely. For King size blankets, there are typically two controllers, one for each side of the bed.
  4. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord(s) from the controller(s) into a 120V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is not controlled by a wall switch if you intend for the blanket to remain on.
  5. Route Cords: Arrange the cords so they are not pinched or tangled and do not pose a tripping hazard.

Operating Instructions

Using the ComfortSet Controller

  1. Turn On: Press the 'On/Off' button to turn the blanket on. The digital display will illuminate, showing the current heat setting.
  2. Adjust Heat Setting: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select your desired heat level, from 1 (low) to 10 (high).
  3. Pre-heat Function: To pre-warm your bed, press the 'Preheat' button. The blanket will heat up quickly and then return to your last selected heat setting after a period.
  4. Auto-Off Timer: The blanket is equipped with a 10-hour auto-off feature for safety and energy conservation. It will automatically turn off after 10 hours of continuous use.
  5. Turn Off: Press the 'On/Off' button again to turn the blanket off. Always unplug the blanket when not in use.

Care and Maintenance

Washing Instructions

  1. Disconnect Power: Always ensure the blanket is unplugged from the wall outlet and the controller(s) are disconnected from the blanket before washing.
  2. Pre-soak (Optional): For best results, pre-soak the blanket for 15 minutes in mild soap and cold water.
  3. Machine Wash: Wash on the 'delicate' or 'gentle' cycle in a washing machine with cold water and a small amount of mild, non-detergent soap. Do not use bleach.
  4. Rinse: Rinse on the 'normal' cycle with cold water.
  5. Machine Dry: Tumble dry on a low heat setting for 5-10 minutes. Remove while still damp and air dry over a clothesline or shower rod. Do not use commercial dryers or iron the blanket.
  6. Storage: Ensure the blanket is completely dry before storing. Store in a cool, dry place.

Important: Do not dry clean, iron, or use mothballs on the heated blanket. These actions can damage the heating elements and void the warranty.

Troubleshooting Guide
