Setup and Installation
This trim is designed for use with compatible 3-inch recessed housings (sold separately). Ensure the housing is properly installed and wired according to its own instructions and local electrical codes.

Installation Steps
- Turn Off Power: Ensure power to the recessed housing circuit is OFF at the breaker.
- Install Lamp: Carefully insert the MR16 lamp (not included) into the lamp holder within the recessed housing. Ensure the lamp wattage does not exceed the housing's rating (35W for IC, 50W for Non-IC).
- Insert Trim: Align the trim with the recessed housing. Gently push the trim into the housing until the retention clips (if applicable to your housing) engage and hold the trim securely in place.
- Secure Trim: Ensure the trim is flush with the ceiling surface.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back ON at the circuit breaker.
Operating Instructions
Once installed and powered, the Jesco Lighting TM309WH recessed light trim operates in conjunction with your existing wall switch or dimmer (if installed). Simply use the wall switch to turn the light ON or OFF.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your light fixture.
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the trim and glass with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Lamp Replacement: Disconnect power before replacing the lamp. Allow the lamp to cool completely. Carefully remove the old MR16 lamp and insert a new one of the correct type and wattage (MR16 12V, max 35W for IC / 50W for Non-IC).
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the trim for any signs of damage or loose connections.
