Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for correct condom application:

  1. Step 1: Check Expiration and Packaging. Before opening, verify the expiration date on the individual foil wrapper. Ensure the wrapper is intact and undamaged.
  2. Step 2: Open Carefully. Tear the wrapper at the designated notch. Be careful not to tear the condom with fingernails, teeth, or any sharp objects.
  3. Step 3: Place on Penis. Once the penis is erect, place the condom on the tip. Ensure the rolled rim is on the outside.
  4. Step 4: Pinch the Tip. Pinch the tip of the condom to squeeze out any trapped air. This creates space for semen and helps prevent breakage.
  5. Step 5: Roll Down. While still pinching the tip, unroll the condom all the way down to the base of the penis.
  6. Step 6: After Ejaculation. Immediately after ejaculation, and while the penis is still erect, hold the rim of the condom firmly against the base of the penis and withdraw from the partner.
  7. Step 7: Dispose Properly. Carefully remove the condom and dispose of it in a trash receptacle. Do not flush condoms down the toilet. Use a new condom for each act of intercourse.

Maintenance and Storage

To ensure the effectiveness and integrity of your OKAMOTO 004 Condoms, follow these guidelines:

  • Store unopened condoms in their original packaging in a cool, dry place.
  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, extreme heat, or cold.
  • Do not store condoms in places where they might be crushed or punctured, such as a wallet or back pocket for extended periods.
  • Always check the expiration date before use.

Troubleshooting

While OKAMOTO 004 Condoms are rigorously tested for reliability, issues can occasionally occur. Here are some common concerns and recommended actions:

  • Condom Breaks During Use: If a condom breaks, consider emergency contraception options immediately to prevent unintended pregnancy. Consult a healthcare professional regarding STI testing.
  • Condom Slips Off: If the condom slips off during intercourse, it may not provide adequate protection. Follow the same advice as for a broken condom. Ensure proper size and application for future use.
  • Allergic Reaction: If you experience itching, redness, swelling, or difficulty breathing after using the condom, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention. This may indicate a latex allergy.
  • Damaged Packaging: Do not use condoms from damaged or opened individual wrappers. Dispose of them and use a new, intact condom.
