Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your scanner.
Cleaning the Scanner
- Exterior: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the exterior of the scanner. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Scanning Lens/Bar: If the scanned images show streaks or smudges, the scanning lens or bar may be dirty. Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the scanning area. Avoid touching the lens directly with your fingers.
Storage
When not in use, store the scanner in its protective pouch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if the scanner will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
