Setup

1. Power Connection

Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the DC IN 9V jack on the rear of the unit and then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The unit will power on and the clock display will flash.

2. Setting the Clock

  1. Press and hold the CLOCK/TIME ZONE button located on the top panel until the hour digits flash.
  2. Press the TIME SET + or - buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press the CLOCK/TIME ZONE button again. The minute digits will flash.
  4. Press the TIME SET + or - buttons to adjust the minutes.
  5. Press the CLOCK/TIME ZONE button to confirm the time setting.

3. Adjusting the Time Zone

To adjust the time zone, press the CLOCK/TIME ZONE button repeatedly until the desired time zone appears on the display. The clock will automatically adjust.

4. FM/AM Antenna Connection

For optimal FM reception, extend the supplied FM wire antenna fully. For AM reception, rotate the unit for best signal. The AM antenna is built-in.

1. Radio Operation

  1. Press the RADIO ON/OFF button to turn on the radio.
  2. Press the RADIO BAND button to select FM or AM.
  3. Use the TUNING + or - buttons to tune to the desired station. Press and hold for automatic scanning.
  4. To preset a station: Tune to the desired station, then press and hold one of the PRESET (1-5) buttons until the preset number flashes on the display.
  5. To recall a preset station: Press the corresponding PRESET (1-5) button.

2. iPod/iPhone Dock Operation

  1. Open the dock cover and carefully place your compatible iPod or iPhone onto the connector.
  2. Press the iPod/iPhone button to switch to iPod/iPhone playback mode.
  3. Use the playback controls on your device or the remote control to play, pause, skip tracks, and adjust volume.
  4. The docked device will charge automatically when the unit is powered on and the device is properly seated.

3. Alarm Settings

The unit features dual alarms (Alarm A and Alarm B) and flexible alarm settings.

  1. Setting Alarm A or B:
    • Press and hold the ALARM SET A or ALARM SET B button until the alarm time flashes.
    • Use the TIME SET + or - buttons to adjust the hour, then press the ALARM SET button to confirm.
    • Adjust the minutes similarly, then press ALARM SET to confirm.
    • Select the wake source (iPod, Radio, or Buzzer) using the ALARM MODE button.
    • Select the alarm duration (2, 5, or 7 days) using the ALARM MODE button.
    • Press the ALARM ON/OFF A or B button to activate the alarm. The alarm indicator will light up.
  2. Snooze Function: When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/DATE/SLEEP OFF button to temporarily stop the alarm. The alarm will sound again after approximately 10 minutes.
  3. Stopping the Alarm: To stop the alarm completely, press the ALARM ON/OFF A or B button.

4. Sleep Timer

The sleep timer allows you to fall asleep to music, and the unit will automatically turn off after a set period.

  1. Press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through the available sleep times (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF).
  2. The unit will turn off automatically after the selected time.

5. Sound Settings

  • Volume: Use the VOLUME + or - buttons to adjust the listening volume.
  • MEGA BASS: Press the MEGA BASS button to enhance bass frequencies. Press again to deactivate.
  • MEGA XPAND: Press the MEGA XPAND button to create a wider stereo sound field. Press again to deactivate.

6. Remote Control

The supplied wireless remote commander allows control of various functions from a distance, including power, volume, radio tuning, and iPod/iPhone playback.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Unit: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive pads, scouring powders, or solvents such as alcohol or benzene.
  • Cleaning the Dock Connector: Periodically inspect the dock connector for dust or debris. Use a soft, dry brush to gently clean the pins if necessary.
  • Battery Replacement (Remote Control): If the remote control's range decreases, replace its battery with a new one of the same type. Refer to the remote control's compartment for battery specifications.

Troubleshooting
