Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to easily open a wine bottle using your Final Touch Easy Turn Corkscrew:
- Step 1: Remove Foil. Use the included foil cutter to remove the foil seal from the top of the wine bottle.
- Step 2: Insert Corkscrew. Place the corkscrew firmly on top of the wine bottle, ensuring it is centered.
- Step 3: Turn to Remove Cork. Hold the bottle securely and turn the wing handle of the corkscrew clockwise. The spring assist mechanism will guide the corkscrew into the cork and then pull the cork out of the bottle without requiring significant pulling force. Continue turning until the cork is fully extracted.
- Step 4: Eject Cork. Once the cork is removed from the bottle and is inside the corkscrew, turn the wing handle in the opposite (counter-clockwise) direction to eject the cork from the corkscrew.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your corkscrew:
- Cleaning: Hand wash the corkscrew with mild soap and water.
- Drying: Dry thoroughly immediately after washing to prevent water spots or corrosion.
- Storage: Store in a dry place.
Do not place the corkscrew in a dishwasher, as this may damage the materials and internal mechanisms.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Corkscrew does not penetrate cork easily. | Corkscrew not centered; cork is very dense or synthetic. | Ensure the corkscrew is perfectly centered on the bottle. Apply firm, steady downward pressure while turning. The non-stick coating is designed for all cork types, but some synthetic corks can be more resistant. |
| Cork is difficult to eject from the corkscrew. | Insufficient counter-clockwise turns. | Turn the wing handle fully in the opposite (counter-clockwise) direction until the cork is released. |
| Corkscrew mechanism feels stiff or jammed. | Residue buildup; internal component issue. | Clean the corkscrew thoroughly as per maintenance instructions. If the issue persists, contact customer support. |
