Setup and Pre-Ride Inspection

Place your front foot over the front trucks, and your back foot near the tail. Find a comfortable balance point. Your stance will influence stability and turning.

Pushing

With your front foot on the board, use your back foot to push off the ground. Once you gain momentum, place your back foot on the board.

Turning

Lean in the direction you wish to turn. The trucks will pivot, allowing the board to steer. Adjust truck tightness to modify turning sensitivity.

Stopping

There are several ways to stop:

• Foot Braking: Gently drag your back foot on the ground.
• Carving: Make wide, sweeping turns to reduce speed.
• Tail Drag: (Use with caution, can damage tail) Lightly drag the tail of the board on the ground.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance will extend the life of your skateboard and ensure safe riding.

Cleaning

• Deck: Wipe down the deck with a damp cloth. Avoid excessive water, especially on the grip tape.
• Grip Tape: Use a grip tape cleaner brush or a stiff brush to remove dirt and debris.
• Wheels: Clean wheels with a damp cloth.

Bearing Care

Truck Adjustment
