Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with fresh water to the MAX level. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
  3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface away from the edge of the counter. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.

Operating Instructions

  1. Fill the Kettle: Open the lid by pressing the lid release button on the handle. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX (1.5L) mark.
  2. Place on Power Base: Close the lid securely. Place the kettle onto the 360° swivel power base. Ensure it is seated correctly.
  3. Turn On: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Press the ON/OFF switch located on the handle downwards. The indicator light on the base will illuminate, signaling that the kettle is heating.
  4. Boiling Process: The water will begin to heat rapidly. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, the kettle will automatically shut off, and the indicator light will extinguish.
  5. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its power base. Pour the hot water slowly and steadily to avoid splashing.
  6. Re-boiling: If you need to boil water again immediately after it has shut off, wait a few seconds for the internal thermostat to reset before pressing the ON/OFF switch again.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

  • Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the stainless steel finish.
  • Interior: For general cleaning, rinse the interior with water. For stubborn stains, use a soft brush or sponge with a mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Power Base: Never immerse the power base in water or any other liquid. Wipe with a dry cloth if necessary.

Descaling:

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up on the interior of the kettle, especially in areas with hard water. This can affect performance and taste. Descale regularly (monthly or as needed).

  1. Vinegar Method: Fill the kettle with 2 cups of white vinegar and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil and let it stand for 30 minutes. Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  2. Lemon Juice Method: Alternatively, use the juice of one lemon (or 2 tablespoons of citric acid) mixed with 2 cups of water. Boil and let stand for 15 minutes. Discard and rinse thoroughly.

Ensure all descaling solution is rinsed out before using the kettle for beverages.

Storage:

When not in use, store the kettle in a clean, dry place. You can wrap the power cord around the base for neat storage.
