The Magnasonic EAAC601 Projection Alarm Clock is a feature-rich device designed to enhance your daily routine. It offers a large, crystal clear 3.6-inch blue LCD display with adjustable brightness. A unique feature allows you to project the time or indoor temperature onto your walls or ceiling, with a 180-degree swivel for optimal viewing. This clock radio automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time and includes a pre-programmable dual alarm with weekend cancellation. You can wake up to your favorite AM/FM radio station, a buzzer, or the time projection. Additionally, it features a 3.5mm AUX input for connecting external audio devices like smartphones or MP3 players. The advanced SelfSet technology ensures the correct time and date are displayed automatically, and a built-in lithium battery retains alarm settings even after a power loss.

Setup
1. Power Connection
Connect the provided 5ft power cable to the DC input jack on the back of the alarm clock and plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet. The unit will power on automatically.
2. Battery Backup
The EAAC601 comes with a pre-installed CR2032 lithium battery. This battery serves as a backup to maintain time, date, and alarm settings during a power outage. No action is required for initial setup of the backup battery.
3. Initial Time and Date Setting (SelfSet Technology)
Thanks to advanced SelfSet technology, the clock automatically displays the correct time and date upon initial power-up. No manual setting is typically required. If the time is incorrect, ensure the clock has a clear signal or refer to the "Setting Time and Date" section under Operating Instructions.
Operating Instructions
Setting Time and Date
While the SelfSet technology usually handles time and date, you can manually adjust them if needed. Refer to the Quick Start Guide for specific button sequences, typically involving a "Time Set" or "Clock" button and arrow keys.
Display Brightness (Dimming)
The 3.6-inch blue LCD display features multiple brightness settings (Low/Med/High) to suit your preference, especially in varying light conditions. Locate the "Dimmer" or "Display" button on the unit and press it repeatedly to cycle through the brightness levels.

Time and Temperature Projection
The projection feature allows you to view the time or indoor temperature on your ceiling or wall. The projector lens can be swiveled 180 degrees to adjust the projection angle. Use the dedicated projection button (often labeled with a projection icon) to toggle the projection on/off and to switch between time and temperature display.

Setting and Using Alarms
The EAAC601 supports dual alarms, allowing you to set two separate wake-up times. Each alarm can be configured to sound daily or with weekend cancellation. You can choose to wake up to the AM/FM radio, a traditional buzzer, or the projected time. Consult the Quick Start Guide for detailed steps on setting Alarm 1 and Alarm 2, selecting the alarm source, and activating/deactivating alarms.
AM/FM Radio Operation
To listen to the radio, press the "Radio" or "Power" button. Use the "Tune" or "Frequency" buttons to scan for stations. The digital tuning feature allows for precise station selection. Extend the FM wire antenna for better reception. For AM, rotate the unit for optimal signal.
Using the 3.5mm AUX Input
Connect your smartphone, MP3 player, or other audio devices to the clock radio using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). Select the AUX input mode on the clock (usually by pressing a "Mode" or "Source" button) to play audio through the clock's speakers.
Nap/Sleep Timer
The Nap/Sleep Timer allows you to set a duration for the radio to play before automatically turning off. This is ideal for falling asleep to music. Press the "NAP/SLEEP" button and cycle through the preset durations (e.g., 10, 20, 30, 60, 90 minutes). The radio will turn off after the selected time.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the unit, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
Battery Replacement
The CR2032 backup battery typically lasts for several years. If you notice that time and alarm settings are lost during a power outage, it may be time to replace the battery. Refer to the Quick Start Guide for instructions on accessing and replacing the CR2032 battery.
