Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

Setup Instructions
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport. Remove any protective films or labels from the appliance.
- Assembling the Stand Mixer:
- Place the stand base on a clean, dry, and stable surface.
- Ensure the mixer head is securely seated on the stand.
- Attaching Beaters or Dough Hooks:
- Ensure the mixer is unplugged and the speed control is set to 'OFF' or '0'.
- Insert the beaters or dough hooks into the openings on the underside of the mixer head. Push firmly until they click into place. Note that one beater/hook has a collar and must be inserted into the larger opening.
- Gently tug on the beaters/hooks to ensure they are securely locked.
- Placing the Mixing Bowl:
- Place the 3-quart stainless steel mixing bowl onto the stand base. Ensure it is centered and stable.
Operating Instructions
Using as a Stand Mixer
- Ensure the mixer is assembled with the desired attachments (beaters or dough hooks) and the mixing bowl is in place.
- Add ingredients to the mixing bowl.
- Plug the mixer into a standard electrical outlet.
- Select the desired speed using the 5-speed control knob. Start at a lower speed to prevent splashing, then gradually increase as needed.
- Allow the mixer to operate until ingredients are thoroughly combined or processed as required by your recipe.
- Once mixing is complete, set the speed control to 'OFF' or '0' and unplug the mixer.
- To remove beaters/hooks, press the eject button located on the mixer head.
Using as a Hand Mixer
- Ensure the mixer is unplugged and the speed control is set to 'OFF' or '0'.
- Press the release button on the stand to detach the mixer head.
- Insert the desired attachments (beaters or dough hooks) into the openings on the underside of the mixer head.
- Plug the hand mixer into a standard electrical outlet.
- Hold the mixer firmly and select the desired speed.
- Mix ingredients in your preferred bowl.
- After use, set the speed control to 'OFF' or '0' and unplug the mixer.
- Press the eject button to release the beaters/hooks.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Sunbeam mixer.
Cleaning the Attachments (Beaters and Dough Hooks)
- After each use, remove the beaters or dough hooks by pressing the eject button.
- Wash the chrome beaters and dough hooks in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent rust.

Cleaning the Mixing Bowl
