2. Safety Information

Please read all safety warnings and instructions carefully before operating the unit to prevent injury or damage.

  • This unit is designed exclusively for 12V vehicle power sources. Do not connect it to 24V power systems.
  • The MD14F-D functions solely as a refrigerator/freezer. It cannot be used as a warming unit.
  • For home use, an optional AC adapter (model 0690-080-0m00) is required and must be purchased separately.
  • When using a DCDC converter for 24V vehicles (e.g., trucks), only use the manufacturer-recommended converter (model ED-100). Use of non-recommended converters may lead to malfunctions and void the warranty.
  • Ensure the power cord is correctly connected and free from debris in the cigarette lighter socket to prevent overheating.
  • Do not block the ventilation windows to ensure proper cooling and prevent overheating.
  • Avoid placing hot items directly into the unit, as this will reduce cooling efficiency.
  • Ensure the door is completely closed to maintain internal temperature.
