Setup Instructions
1. Unpacking and Preparation
Carefully remove the frame from its packaging. Inspect the frame for any damage. The styrene (plastic front) comes with a protective film on both sides to prevent scratches during transit. Gently peel off this film from both the front and back surfaces of the styrene before inserting your artwork.
2. Inserting Your Artwork
- Lay the frame face down on a clean, flat surface.
- Carefully bend the metal tabs on the back of the frame upwards to release the backing board.
- Remove the backing board and the styrene.
- Place your 20x30 inch artwork or photo onto the frame's rabbet (the recessed edge). Ensure it is centered and aligned as desired.
- Place the styrene on top of your artwork, ensuring the protective films have been removed.
- Re-insert the backing board, ensuring it fits snugly.
- Bend the metal tabs back down to secure the backing board and your artwork in place.
3. Installing Hanging Hardware
Your frame includes a wire hanging set for wall mounting. This typically consists of two D-ring hangers, screws, and hanging wire.

- Measure approximately one-third of the way down from the top of the frame on both vertical sides. Mark these points with a pencil.
- Attach a D-ring hanger at each marked point using the provided screws. Ensure the D-rings are facing inwards towards the center of the frame.
- Thread the hanging wire through both D-rings and twist it securely around itself to create a strong loop. Ensure the wire is taut but allows for a slight curve when hanging.
4. Wall Mounting
Once the hanging wire is securely attached, you can mount your frame on the wall using an appropriate wall hook or nail (not included). Ensure the wall hook is rated to support the weight of your framed artwork.

Operating Instructions
The primary operation of your picture frame involves displaying and occasionally changing the artwork. To change the artwork, follow the steps outlined in the 'Inserting Your Artwork' section above. Always handle the frame and its contents with care to prevent damage.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Frame
Wipe the frame with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
Cleaning the Styrene
For the styrene front, use a soft, damp cloth with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for plastics, or simply water. Gently wipe the surface. Avoid using paper towels or harsh chemicals, which can scratch the styrene. A Swiffer duster can also be effective for light dust.
Troubleshooting
- Scratches on Styrene: Ensure the protective film is completely removed from both sides of the styrene. If scratches appear after removal, they may be superficial and can sometimes be minimized with a plastic polish.
- Frame Not Hanging Straight: Verify that the wall hook is level and securely installed. Check that the hanging wire is evenly distributed and securely twisted around both D-rings.
- Artwork Shifting Inside Frame: Ensure all metal tabs on the back of the frame are bent down firmly to hold the backing board and artwork securely.
