4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation (Main Unit)
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the main alarm unit.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 x AA batteries (not supplied) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- Alternatively, a 6V DC power adaptor (not supplied) can be used. Connect the adaptor to the DC input port on the unit.
4.2. Remote Control Batteries
The two remote control key-rings come with 3 x AG13 button cell batteries pre-installed. No action is required for initial setup.
4.3. Mounting the Alarm Unit
The alarm unit can be wall-mounted for optimal motion detection.
- Choose a suitable location for the alarm unit, ensuring it covers the desired area for motion detection. The unit has a 5-meter detection range.
- Use the provided wall mount bracket as a template to mark drilling points on the wall.
- Drill holes and insert appropriate wall plugs (if necessary).
- Secure the wall mount bracket to the wall using screws.
- Attach the main alarm unit to the wall mount bracket. Ensure it is securely fastened and positioned to cover the intended area.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Arming the Alarm
To arm the alarm unit:
- Press the ARM button on one of the remote control key-rings.
- The alarm unit will emit a short beep, and the RED LED indicator will flash, signifying that the alarm is armed and ready to detect motion.
5.2. Disarming the Alarm
To disarm the alarm unit:
- Press the DISARM button on one of the remote control key-rings.
- The alarm unit will emit a short beep, and the GREEN LED indicator will illuminate, signifying that the alarm is disarmed.
5.3. Motion Detection
When the alarm is armed and motion is detected within its 5-meter range, the alarm will sound. The PIR sensor detects movement within its field of view.
- Ensure the sensor is not obstructed by furniture or other objects.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or direct sunlight, which can cause false alarms.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Battery Replacement (Main Unit)
When the alarm unit's performance degrades or the LED indicators become dim, it is time to replace the batteries.
- Disarm the alarm unit.
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
- Remove the old 4 x AA batteries.
- Insert new 4 x AA alkaline batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
- Test the alarm unit to ensure proper function.
6.2. Battery Replacement (Remote Control)
If the remote control range decreases or it becomes unresponsive, replace its batteries.
- Locate the small screw on the back of the remote control.
- Unscrew it and carefully open the remote casing.
- Remove the old 3 x AG13 button cell batteries.
- Insert new 3 x AG13 button cell batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Close the casing and secure it with the screw.
6.3. Cleaning
Wipe the alarm unit and remote controls with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the surface.
