2. Setup Guide

2.1. Battery Installation

The Vivitar F027 camera requires three AAA batteries. Ensure the camera is powered off before installing or replacing batteries.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom or side of the camera.

2.2. Memory Card Installation

  2. Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing the correct direction (usually downwards or towards the front of the camera) until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove the SD card, gently push it in until it springs out, then pull it from the slot.

Note: Ensure the camera is off before inserting or removing the memory card to prevent data corruption.

2.3. Initial Power On

After installing batteries and a memory card, press and hold the power button (usually located on the top of the camera) until the screen illuminates. The camera may prompt you to set the date and time during the first power-on.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Taking Photos

  1. Power on the camera.
  2. Frame your shot using the 2.7-inch LCD screen.
  3. Press the shutter button halfway down to allow the camera to focus. A green indicator typically confirms focus.
  4. Press the shutter button fully down to capture the image.

3.2. Video Recording
