Care and Cleaning

Proper care and cleaning will ensure the longevity of your slow cooker.

  1. Always turn the slow cooker to OFF, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. The removable stoneware and glass lid are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth.
  3. For stubborn food residue, fill the stoneware with warm water and allow it to soak for a few hours before cleaning.
  4. The heating base should be wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse the heating base in water or other liquids.
  5. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads, as they may scratch surfaces.
