4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
- Insert the 4x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

5.1 Turning On/Off
- To turn on: Press the power button (usually marked with a circle and a vertical line). The Magic-LED display will become visible.
- To turn off: Press and hold the power button for a few seconds, or the scale will automatically turn off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
5.2 Weighing
- Turn on the scale. Ensure the display shows '0'.
- Place the item to be weighed onto the center of the weighing surface.
- Read the weight displayed on the Magic-LED screen.
Precise Graduation: For weights under 500 g, the scale displays weight in 0.1 g increments; for 500 - 1000 g, in 0.2 g increments; and from 1000 g upwards, in 0.5 g increments.
5.3 Tare Function
The tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients in the same container or to subtract the weight of a container.
- Place an empty container on the scale.
- Press the 'TARE' button (or the power button if it doubles as tare, consult specific button markings on your device). The display will reset to '0'.
- Add the first ingredient to the container. Read its weight.
- To add another ingredient, press 'TARE' again to reset the display to '0', then add the next ingredient.
5.4 Unit Conversion
