2. Safety Information

4. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
2. Placement: Place the coffeemaker on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface near a power outlet. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
3. Initial Rinse:
   • Remove the water reservoir from the back of the unit.
   • Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with fresh water.
   • Fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the MAX fill line.
   • Place the reservoir back onto the coffeemaker, ensuring it is securely seated.
   • Place an empty cup (at least 10 oz) on the cup stand.
   • Plug the coffeemaker into a grounded electrical outlet.
   • Press the power button to turn on the machine. The indicator light will illuminate.
   • Follow the machine's instructions for an initial rinse cycle (usually by pressing the brew button without a T-Disc inserted). This cleans the internal components.
   • Discard the water from the cup. Your coffeemaker is now ready for use.

The TASSIMO T45 uses intelligent barcode technology to brew each beverage perfectly.

1. Fill Water Reservoir: Ensure the water reservoir is filled with fresh, cold water.
2. Prepare Cup: Place your desired cup on the adjustable cup stand. Adjust the height of the cup stand if necessary to accommodate different cup sizes.
3. Insert T-Disc:
   • Lift the lid of the T-Disc brewing unit.
   • Insert the T-Disc into the holder with the barcode facing down.
   • Close the lid firmly until it clicks into place.
4. Brew Beverage:
   • Press the brew button. The machine will read the barcode on the T-Disc and automatically adjust the brewing parameters (water volume, temperature, brewing time) for the perfect beverage.
   • Wait for the brewing process to complete. The indicator light will change, and the machine will stop dispensing.
5. Enjoy Your Beverage: Carefully remove your freshly brewed drink.
6. Remove Used T-Disc: Lift the lid of the brewing unit and remove the used T-Disc. Dispose of it properly.
