Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the Rescue Jump Pack for at least 12 hours. Connect the unit to a standard AC outlet using the provided charging cable. The battery status gauge will indicate charging progress.

Checking Battery Status

Regularly check the battery status gauge to ensure the unit is adequately charged for emergency use. Recharge the unit after each use or every 3 months if not used.

Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

  1. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and all accessories are turned off.
  2. Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
  3. Connect the black negative (-) clamp to a clean, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's engine block or chassis, away from the battery. Do not connect directly to the negative battery terminal.
  4. Ensure connections are secure.
  5. Start the vehicle. If the vehicle does not start after 5 seconds, wait at least 1 minute before attempting again.
  6. Once the vehicle starts, disconnect the black negative (-) clamp first, then the red positive (+) clamp.
  7. Recharge the Jump Pack as soon as possible after use.

Using the Air Compressor

The integrated air compressor can inflate tires, sports equipment, and other inflatables. Multiple air tips are included for various applications.

  1. Attach the appropriate air tip to the compressor hose.
  2. Connect the air tip to the item to be inflated.
  3. Turn on the air compressor. Monitor the air gauge to reach the desired pressure. The unit features an automatic shut-off.
  4. Once inflated, turn off the compressor and disconnect the hose.

Using the Work Light and Flasher

The unit includes a built-in work light and flasher for illumination in low-light conditions or for signaling during roadside emergencies. Activate these features using the dedicated switches on the control panel.

Maintenance

  • Recharging: Recharge the unit after every use and at least every three months to maintain battery health and extend its lifespan.
  • Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
  • Storage: Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the cables are neatly wrapped and secured.
  • Cable Inspection: Periodically inspect the jumper cables and clamps for any signs of damage, fraying, or corrosion. Replace if necessary.
