2. Physical Connections

Before connecting any cables, ensure the mixer is powered off and disconnected from the mains power supply.

Power Connection:

Operating the Mixer

1. Channel Strip Controls

Each input channel on the PROFX12 features a set of controls to shape the sound.

• Gain Control: Adjusts the input sensitivity for the connected microphone or line-level device. Set this to achieve a strong signal without clipping (indicated by the "OL" LED).
• 3-Band EQ: Provides High, Mid, and Low frequency adjustments for tone shaping. Use these to enhance or cut specific frequencies.
• Aux Send: Routes a portion of the channel's signal to the Aux Send output, typically used for monitor mixes.
• FX Send: Routes a portion of the channel's signal to the internal RMFX effects processor.
