Setup

Assembly

Operating Instructions

Starting the Mower

1. Connect Power: Ensure the mower is properly plugged into a power outlet via an appropriate extension cord.
2. Engage Safety Button: Press and hold the safety button located on the handle.
3. Pull Bail Lever: While holding the safety button, pull the bail lever towards the handle. The mower will start.
4. Release Safety Button: Once the mower starts, you can release the safety button, but continue to hold the bail lever to keep the mower running.
5. To Stop: Release the bail lever. The mower will immediately shut off.

Adjusting Cutting Height

The mower features a 5-position height adjustment system, allowing you to select a cutting height from 1-3/4 inches to 3-3/4 inches. To adjust:

• Ensure the mower is turned off and unplugged.
• Locate the height adjustment lever near the rear wheel.
• Pull the lever outwards and move it forward or backward to the desired height setting. The settings are typically numbered or indicated.
• Release the lever to lock it into position. Ensure all wheels are at the same height setting.

Mulching and Bagging

This 2-in-1 mower allows for mulching or rear bagging:

• For Rear Bagging: Ensure the grass catcher is properly installed. Clippings will be collected in the bag. Empty the bag regularly to maintain optimal performance.
• For Mulching: Remove the grass catcher. The mower will cut and recut the grass clippings into fine pieces, distributing them back onto the lawn as natural fertilizer.
