The Everpure EV933042 High Flow CSR Twin-MC2 System is designed to provide high-quality filtered water for various applications. Installation and Setup

Installation Steps

1. Choose Location: Select a suitable location for the system, typically under a sink or near the point of use, ensuring adequate space for filter replacement.
2. Mount System: Securely mount the system using the provided mounting bracket and appropriate fasteners. Ensure it is level and stable.
3. Connect Water Lines: Connect the inlet water line to the system's inlet port and the outlet water line to the desired faucet or appliance. Pay attention to flow direction (indicated on the system).
4. Install Cartridges: Insert the prefilter, MC2 cartridges, and scale inhibitor cartridge into their respective housings. Ensure they are properly seated and housings are tightened securely by hand, then a quarter turn with a wrench if necessary.
5. Check for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply and check all connections for leaks. Tighten any leaking connections.
6. Flush System: Open the filtered water faucet and allow water to run for at least 5-10 minutes to flush out air and carbon fines. Initial water may appear cloudy; this is normal. Continue flushing until water runs clear.

Operating Instructions

Once installed and flushed, the Everpure EV933042 system operates automatically. Water flows through the prefilter, then the MC2 cartridges, and finally the scale inhibitor before being dispensed.

Monitoring Performance

• Pressure Gauges: Regularly observe the pressure gauges. A significant drop in outlet pressure or a large differential between inlet and outlet pressure indicates that the filters may be clogging and require replacement.
• Water Quality: Monitor the taste, odor, and clarity of the filtered water. A noticeable decline in water quality suggests that the filter cartridges are nearing the end of their service life.

Filter Cartridge Replacement

It is recommended to replace the filter cartridges and scale inhibitor at least once every 6-12 months, or sooner if flow rate diminishes significantly or water quality declines. The system has a stated capacity of 18,000 gallons.

1. Turn Off Water: Close the inlet water supply valve to the system.
2. Depressurize: Open the filtered water faucet to relieve pressure in the system.
3. Remove Old Cartridges: Unscrew the filter housings and carefully remove the old cartridges. Dispose of them according to local regulations.
4. Clean Housings: Clean the inside of the filter housings with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Inspect and replace O-rings if they appear damaged or worn.
5. Install New Cartridges: Insert new Everpure EV9612-56 MC2 filter cartridges, a new prefilter, and a new SR-X scale inhibitor cartridge into their respective housings. Ensure they are properly seated.
6. Tighten Housings: Screw the housings back onto the system head. Hand-tighten, then use a filter wrench for a snug fit, but do not overtighten.
7. Restore Water Supply: Slowly open the inlet water supply valve.
8. Flush System: Open the filtered water faucet and flush the system for 5-10 minutes to remove air and carbon fines.
