Setup and Installation

Tools Required (not included):

• Stud finder (for wood stud installation)
• Drill with appropriate drill bits
• Level
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Socket wrench or adjustable wrench

• Measuring tape

Step 1: Attach TV Brackets to TV

1. Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
2. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
3. Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers (if needed) from the provided hardware that fit your TV's mounting holes.
4. Attach the two TV brackets to the back of your TV, ensuring they are vertically aligned and securely fastened. The longer arms of the brackets should extend downwards.

Step 2: Mount Wall Plate to Wall

For Wood Stud Installation:

1. Use a stud finder to locate the center of two adjacent wood studs where you intend to mount the TV. Mark these locations. The wall plate is designed to accommodate stud separation up to 24 inches.
2. Hold the wall plate against the wall at the desired height and use a level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling locations through the holes on the wall plate that align with the studs.
3. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Ensure the drill bit size is appropriate for the lag bolts.
4. Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Tighten firmly, but do not overtighten.

For Solid Concrete/Brick Wall Installation:

1. Hold the wall plate against the wall at the desired height and use a level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling locations.
2. Drill holes at the marked locations using a masonry drill bit. Ensure the drill bit size is appropriate for the concrete anchors.
3. Insert the concrete anchors into the drilled holes, ensuring they are flush with the wall surface.
4. Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers, screwing them into the concrete anchors. Tighten firmly.

Step 3: Hang TV on Wall Plate

1. With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets.
2. Align the TV brackets with the top edge of the wall plate and gently lower the TV, allowing the brackets to hook onto the wall plate.
3. Ensure both TV brackets are securely seated on the wall plate. The fixed design means the TV will sit flush against the wall, approximately 1.5 inches from the wall surface.
4. Locate the safety screws or locking mechanisms on the bottom of the TV brackets. Tighten these to secure the TV to the wall plate and prevent accidental dislodgement.

Operating

The VideoSecu MF601B is a fixed wall mount, meaning once installed, the television will remain in a static position. There are no adjustable features for tilt, swivel, or extension. Ensure the TV is securely locked onto the wall plate using the safety screws at the bottom of the TV brackets after installation.

Maintenance
