5.3 Connecting the Subwoofer

The XLS-15S offers multiple connection options:

• LFE Input (Recommended for AV Receivers): Connect a single RCA cable from the LFE or Subwoofer Pre-Out jack of your AV receiver to the LFE input on the subwoofer. This connection bypasses the subwoofer's internal crossover, allowing your receiver to manage bass management.
• Line Level Inputs (RCA): For stereo receivers or preamplifiers without a dedicated LFE output, connect RCA cables from the pre-out jacks of your source component to the L&R Line Level Inputs on the subwoofer.
• Speaker Level Inputs: If your amplifier or receiver does not have line-level outputs, connect speaker wires from your amplifier's main speaker outputs to the Speaker Level Inputs on the subwoofer. Then, connect speaker wires from the subwoofer's Speaker Level Outputs to your main speakers. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).

6.1 Powering On/Off
