Unpacking

Battery Installation
1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the camera.

Memory Card Insertion

Initial Power On

Taking Photos
1. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button.

Zoom Function
Use the zoom lever (marked W/T) located on the top of the camera. Push towards T for telephoto (zoom in) and towards W for wide-angle (zoom out).
Flash Settings
To adjust flash settings, press the flash button on the directional pad (usually indicated by a lightning bolt icon). Options typically include:
- Auto Flash: Camera automatically determines if flash is needed.
- Fill-Flash: Flash fires for every shot.
- Slow Sync: Flash fires, and shutter speed is slowed to capture background light.
- Flash Off: Flash does not fire.

- Handheld Twilight: For capturing cleaner and sharper night shots without a tripod. The camera takes multiple images and combines them.
- Anti-Motion Blur: Captures multiple images at a higher shutter speed to reduce subject blur.
- Sweep Panorama: Press the shutter button and sweep the camera horizontally or vertically to create a single panoramic image.
- HD Movie Mode (720p): Select this mode on the dial to record high-definition video. Press the movie button to start/stop recording.
Reviewing Images
1. Press the Playback button (usually indicated by a triangle icon) to enter playback mode.
2. Use the directional buttons to navigate through your captured photos and videos.
3. To exit playback mode, press the shutter button or the Playback button again.
