Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport if needed.
2. Bag Installation/Check: Ensure the reusable 3-layer commercial cloth bag is properly installed inside the canister. If using optional paper bags, install one according to the instructions on the bag.
3. Attaching the Hose: Insert the hose cuff firmly into the intake port on the front of the cleaner until it clicks into place.
4. Connecting Wands and Tools:
   • Connect the two chrome wands together by twisting them until secure.
   • Attach the desired cleaning tool (e.g., rug/floor nozzle, crevice tool) to the end of the wand assembly or directly to the hose handle.
5. Shoulder Strap Attachment: If desired for portability, attach the shoulder strap to the designated loops on the cleaner unit.
6. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Vacuuming

1. Ensure the cleaner is properly assembled with the desired attachment.
2. Plug the power cord into a 120V outlet.
3. Press the power switch located on the unit to turn the cleaner ON.
4. Begin cleaning the desired surface. Use the rug/floor nozzle for carpets and hard floors, the crevice tool for tight spaces, and the dusting brush for delicate surfaces.
5. For cleaning stairs, the compact design allows the unit to fit on stair treads for convenience. Use the appropriate nozzle.
6. When finished, press the power switch to turn the cleaner OFF and unplug it from the outlet.

Blower Function

The Portapower cleaner can also be used as a blower.

1. Unplug the hose from the intake port.
2. Locate the blower port, typically on the rear or side of the unit.
3. Insert the hose cuff firmly into the blower port.
4. Attach the desired nozzle to the other end of the hose.
5. Plug in the power cord and turn the unit ON.
6. Direct the airflow as needed for blowing debris.
7. When finished, turn the unit OFF and unplug it. Remove the hose from the blower port.

Emptying and Cleaning the Cloth Bag
