- Purpose: For labeling clothing and textiles.
- Components: 24 iron-on labels, 1 permanent textile marker (black).
- Washability: Labels and ink are washable up to 95 °C.

2. Setup
Before use, ensure you have a clean, flat, heat-resistant surface for ironing and a functional iron. The labels are pre-cut and ready for writing.

- Prepare the Marker: Ensure the marker cap is removed. If it's a new marker, a few strokes on a scrap piece of fabric might be needed to get the ink flowing consistently.
- Prepare the Labels: The labels are ready for direct use. No pre-treatment is required.
- Prepare the Garment: Ensure the garment where the label will be applied is clean, dry, and ironed flat.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Writing on Labels
Use the provided laundry marker to write the desired name or information clearly on the white cotton label. Allow the ink to dry completely before proceeding to the ironing step.

3.2 Applying Iron-On Labels
- Position the Label: Place the written label onto the desired location on the garment. Ensure the garment fabric is smooth underneath the label.
- Ironing Temperature: Set your iron to a medium-high temperature suitable for cotton. Avoid using steam.
- Apply Heat: Press the hot, dry iron firmly over the label for approximately 10-15 seconds. Apply even pressure. For delicate fabrics, place a thin cloth between the iron and the label.
- Cool Down: Allow the label to cool completely before handling the garment or checking adhesion. This ensures the adhesive sets properly.
- Check Adhesion: Gently try to lift the edge of the label. If it lifts, repeat the ironing process.
4. Maintenance
Once applied correctly, the Prym laundry labels and marker ink are designed for durability.
- Washing: Garments with applied labels can be washed at temperatures up to 95 °C.
- Drying: Labels are suitable for tumble drying.
- Ironing: When ironing the garment after washing, avoid direct contact of the hot iron with the label if possible, or place a protective cloth over it to prevent potential damage to the label or adhesive.
5. Troubleshooting
- Ink washes out:
Ensure the ink is completely dry before washing. The marker is designed to be permanent on textiles, but some fabric types or improper application might affect durability. If the issue persists, ensure the marker is not dried out and is used on the intended cotton labels.
- Labels do not stick:
Verify that the iron temperature is sufficiently hot for cotton and that you are applying firm, even pressure for the recommended duration (10-15 seconds). Ensure no steam is used during application. The garment and label must be dry. Allow the label to cool completely before checking adhesion.
- Fading or peeling after multiple washes:
While designed for high wash temperatures, extreme washing conditions or abrasive detergents over time may affect the label's appearance or adhesion. Ensure proper application as described in section 3.2.
