Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the watch with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild neutral detergent. Never use volatile agents like thinner, benzine, or alcohol, as they may damage the resin components.
  • Water Resistance: This watch is rated for 200M water resistance. This means it is suitable for recreational scuba diving. Do not operate buttons while the watch is wet or submerged. Avoid exposing the watch to hot water or steam, as this can compromise the water resistance.
  • Shock Resistance: While designed to be shock resistant, avoid strong impacts or dropping the watch from heights, as this can still cause damage.
  • Battery Replacement: The approximate battery life is 3 years (Battery: CR1616). When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it's time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified technician to ensure water resistance is maintained.
  • Temperature Exposure: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (very hot or very cold) for prolonged periods, as this can affect accuracy and battery life.

Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
  • Time is inaccurate: Ensure the time and date are set correctly. Extreme temperatures or strong magnetic fields can affect accuracy. If the issue persists after setting, the watch may require servicing.
  • Buttons are not responding: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model doesn't specify one). If the watch is wet, dry it thoroughly before attempting to press buttons. If still unresponsive, a reset (by removing and reinserting the battery) or professional servicing may be needed.
  • Water inside the watch: Immediately take the watch to a qualified service center. Do not attempt to dry it yourself, as this can cause further damage.
