3.1 Unpacking and Inspection

3.2 Assembly

  1. Attach the Base and Support Legs: Securely fasten the support legs to the portable base using the provided hardware.
  2. Mount the Blower Assembly: Attach the motor and impeller housing (blower assembly) to the top of the support legs.

  4. Install the Dust Port: Connect the dust intake port to the blower assembly. This is where the hose from your woodworking machine will attach.

  6. Attach the Filter Bag: Secure the 2.5-micron filter bag to the top outlet of the blower assembly using the provided clamps. Ensure a tight seal.
  7. Attach the Collection Bag: Secure the clear plastic collection bag to the bottom outlet of the blower assembly using the provided clamps. This bag collects the larger dust and debris.

  9. Connect Power: The unit is prewired for 110V. Ensure your power supply matches the motor's requirements (120V/240V, single-phase).

4. Operation

4.1 Connecting to a Machine

  1. Position the dust collector near the woodworking machine you intend to use.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  3. To turn off, press the red "OFF" button or flip the switch to the "OFF" position.

4.3 General Usage Tips

  • Always turn on the dust collector before starting your woodworking machine.
  • Turn off the woodworking machine first, then the dust collector.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Emptying the Collection Bag

  • Release the clamps securing the clear collection bag.

  • Reattach a new or emptied bag, ensuring the clamps are securely fastened to prevent leaks.

5.2 Cleaning the Filter Bag

  • Periodically clean the 2.5-micron filter bag to maintain air suction capacity.
  • Disconnect power.
  • Gently shake or tap the filter bag to dislodge accumulated dust from the inside. For thorough cleaning, the bag may be removed and cleaned outdoors with compressed air or a soft brush.
  • Ensure the filter bag is completely dry before reattaching.

5.3 Impeller Inspection

  • Occasionally inspect the impeller for any debris buildup or damage.
  • Disconnect power and remove the dust port and collection bag for access.
  • Clean any debris from the impeller blades.
