2. Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Always wear appropriate safety gear, including a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads, when operating the Razor MX400. This product is designed for off-road use on private property. Do not ride on streets or around cars, as traffic can be fatal.

4. Setup and Assembly

Some assembly is required. Please follow these general steps. Refer to the detailed assembly video for visual guidance.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present.
  2. Handlebar Installation: Attach the handlebars to the steering column using the provided clamps and bolts. Ensure they are securely tightened.
  3. Front Wheel Assembly: Install the front wheel, ensuring the brake caliper is correctly aligned with the disc. Secure the axle with the nuts.
  4. Front Fender Attachment: Mount the front fender to the front forks.
  5. Rear Shock Adjustment (if applicable): Ensure the rear shock absorber is correctly installed and adjusted.
  6. Initial Battery Charge: Charge the battery for 12 hours before the first use.

5. Operating Instructions

To operate your Razor MX400 Dirt Rocket:

  1. Power On: Locate the power switch, usually near the battery compartment, and switch it to the 'ON' position.
  2. Accelerate: Twist the throttle grip on the right handlebar to accelerate. The speed is controlled by how much you twist the throttle.
  3. Brake: Use the hand-operated rear brake lever on the left handlebar to slow down or stop.
  4. Steering: Steer by turning the handlebars in the desired direction.

Always start slowly and familiarize yourself with the controls in a safe, open area before attempting higher speeds or challenging terrain.

6. Charging Instructions

The Razor MX400 is powered by a rechargeable 24-volt (two 12-volt) sealed lead-acid battery system.

  1. Initial Charge: Before first use, charge the battery for a full 12 hours.
  2. Subsequent Charges: After each use, or if the battery indicator shows low power, connect the charger to the charging port. A full charge typically takes 8-12 hours.
  3. Power Switch: Always turn off the power switch after each ride. The battery may be unable to recharge if left ON without use.
  4. Charger Indicator: The charger will have an indicator light (usually red for charging, green for fully charged).

Do not overcharge the battery. Disconnect the charger once the indicator shows a full charge.
