4. Install Tension Rod: Once all platforms and vertical posts are assembled, attach the tension rod assembly to the top of the uppermost vertical post.
5. Position and Secure: Stand the assembled cat tree upright in your desired location. Extend the tension rod until it firmly presses against the ceiling. Twist the rod to tighten the spring mechanism, securing the cat tree between the floor and ceiling. Ensure the tree is plumb and stable.
